"QUEERS OF THE DESERT TOUR" 2021
After a rescheduled international tour that will see the company perform in Edinburgh, Sweden and Canada in July - October 2021, the boys head back to Australia for a much anticipated 'Queers of the Desert' tour.
We’re not sure what the landscape will be next year, but we do know audiences need some good old fashion entertainment and FUN!
THE FORMAT
Having glitter-bombed the globe as we know it, the Briefs ensemble are going back to basics with their original ‘Club Briefs’ format. We work with what you’ve got! Whether it’s a 500 seat venue or community hall, the show is adaptable for any scenario – lights, rigging or just a blank canvas. We bring our fabulousness to YOU!
THE SHOW
Expect a pumping soundtrack with your favourite dance floor smashes and ridiculous performances from a cavalcade of world-class, cabaret and circus artists; The Briefs boys plus the possible inclusion of local, hand-selected artists.Stomp it out on the catwalk, dance until late, laugh until you ache and experience the club night that spawned the international touring sensation Briefs. Club Briefs pays homage to the traditions of circus, the extremities of physical theatre, the artistry of drag, the guts of burlesque, the imagery of theatre, the debauchery of speakeasies and the showmanship of cabaret.
